Woburn Sands Emporium

Located in Milton Keynes Woburn Sands Emporium is a destination centre offering a vast range of products for garden and home needs. After operating as a Wyevale Garden Centre for 3 decades, Woburn Sands installed a system that didn’t work for them after changing ownership. “Before CSY we had another system installed for a year after changing ownership, this was not a functional system to the requirements of a garden centre or any retail business in 2020,” says Oliver Hayes, Garden Centre Manager at Woburn Sands Emporium.

Over 80% of our garden centre customers already have an EPOS system before having our system installed. This has allowed us to work closely with our customers and provide them with a simple and painless data migration experience. “The whole process was really easy, having gone through the pain of a data migration with the previous system. CSY made it really easy! Their IT team took our data and migrated it to the new system with ease.”

CSY installed into the centre in January 2020, “the install was painless, easy, and we were kept well informed throughout. Our account manager Deanna was really upbeat about the product she was selling, which gave us the confidence in the product.”

During 2020, we offered over the phone training to new customers so they could start getting the most out of their system straight away. “The till system is similar to those that most retailers use, with a clean interface and easy to operate. The back-office system is also relatively easy to use, but anything you can’t find they are only a phone call away. In March we tried to attend the in-house training but due to lockdown we weren’t able to attend, so CSY provided some training over the phone.”

Loyalty cards are the perfect way to encourage customers to return to your store, they are able to collect points to then spend on future shops. “Loyalty schemes are key to any modern retailers. Easy to setup and maintain, and provides lots of reports to look at. Cards are easy to order and CSY can help upload.”
