McCloys Chemist has been proudly serving the Kilrea community since 1947. Over the years, they have continuously evolved, expanding their premises and investing in technology like EPOS.

We have developed a reputation for gift wrapping, making it easy for our customers to gift, especially men at Christmas time! You will find all the typical products that you would expect in a retail pharmacy as well as Clarins, Fine Fragrance, Cosmetics, Branded Jewellery, Home Fragrance and Household Gifts.”
Located in Northern Ireland, McCloys has been a CSY customer since June 2011. “We were recommended CSY by a friend who has a pharmacy in Scotland who had moved to CSY after having a horrendous experience with another provider, and they were very pleased with the backup support.”
“At the time we were looking at two different EPOS providers. CSY came over to demonstrate their system face-to-face. I knew I needed management information to control the growth of the retail business, due to us using a basic cash till for cash handling and stock cards for stock control. We needed better oversight of how our business was developing. What was working, and what wasn’t? Where did we make most of our sales from? Who made those sales? What were the busiest times of the week? How was one department performing against last year, or the year before? CSY were competitive against the local provider, but the local provider wasn’t dependent on EPOS systems.”
