I approached CSY on behalf of Better Food in 2014 with a view to an entire overhaul of our stock management and EPoS systems in our two organic supermarkets. At the time, both stores were running independent systems that were outdated and impacting our ability to trade smoothly. This presented a big challenge in terms of uniting both stores together under one system and the data conversion work needed to make it happen.

CSY put in significant effort to bring existing data across to Vector and make sense of our complicated existing set-up. Having a team of developers on hand allowed this to happen and now we’re in a great position to exploit the features of Vector that have given our teams more insight than ever before on our trading performance. So much so, that within a year of installing Vector on both sites, we’ve already seen an increase in our gross profit margin. We’ve been able to analyse and respond to struggling departments, focus on profit margins for every product, increase availability and manage our growth better than ever before.

When things go wrong, the CSY support team respond effectively and the ongoing support package has proven its worth. We’ve seen minimal impact to normal trade and easily achieve 99.9% uptime. Having a remote technical support and development team is essential for busy retailers.

Overall we’re very pleased with the decision to use Vector and the positive impact it has had on our business. As we prepare to open further branches, we feel confident in taking Vector with us on that journey.
